The Learning, Teaching, and Training Activity of the Erasmus+ project “Getting to know European cultural values along religions” (Project No. 2023-1-HU01-KA220-SCH-000161233) was held in Kisújszállás and Budapest, Hungary, from April 6 to 11, 2025. The participants arrived in Budapest and continued to Kisújszállás on April 6, where they had dinner and settled into their hotel. On April 7, the first official day, the guests were welcomed at the school, and presentations were held about Hungary, the local school, and the Reformed religion. Project partners also presented their institutions, and cultural materials including a collection on religions and religious holidays were shared. After lunch, the group visited the Reformed Church of Kisújszállás and then traveled to Debrecen to visit the city center and the Great Reformed Church. The evening concluded with a horse show, folk dancing, and a group dinner. On April 8, a behind-the-scenes video of the model church construction was shown, and participants assembled the models. Project results were presented, and final discussions were held. Certificates were handed out, followed by lunch and optional relaxation at Kumánia Spa. Later that evening, the group traveled to Budapest. The next day, April 9, they explored the Pest side of Budapest, including visits to St. Stephen’s Basilica, Vörösmarty and Deák Squares, and the Dohány Street Synagogue. Students enjoyed bowling in the evening while teachers gathered for dinner. On April 10, the group visited the Parliament and the Shoes on the Danube Bank memorial, followed by a unique sightseeing tour on the Danube with RiverRide. Later, they explored the Buda side, including the Buda Castle, Mathias Church, and Fisherman’s Bastion. After lunch and some free time, the meeting was officially closed.
